The other day there was a vote in the crypto project community regarding AIP-1.1 and AIP-1.2. He was supported in both cases.
These updates were used as a replacement for AIP-1, which caused many doubts among users. Therefore, the development team canceled it. Most of the outrage was directed against the provision of 750 million tokens to the Arbitrum Foundation. This amount was going to be used for grants to develop the ecosystem.
However, users agreed to only 700 million tokens, which account for only 7% of the total issue. At the same time, a vesting period is made. The amount will be paid over 4 years in equal shares (135 million coins).
Note that the coins will be in a separate crypto wallet with a multi-signature. The fund will control it, but all users will monitor the expenses.
