Thanks to the Bedrock update, the developers were able to achieve several important improvements. These include:
- Reduction of commission fees by approximately 10%. This was due to a reduction in the data charges of the first-level network, reaching a theoretical minimum value.
- Increase the speed of deposit confirmation. Now it will take about three minutes. Previously, a crypto network participant needed about 10 minutes to do this.
- Improving node performance. This became possible due to the implementation of the function of conducting operations in the summary block.
The update has quite a lot of goals. However, one of the key is to achieve maximum equivalence in the Ethereum crypto network. This includes the use of a number of elements: the code of the basic crypto network, infrastructure. This also includes modular architecture.
