Hashflow hacked in the amount of 600 thousand dollars.

A few days ago, a decentralized Hashflow trading platform was hacked. The amount of losses is approximately 600 thousand dollars. This information was published by PeckShield specialists.

What is known about the hack

Experts claim that the vulnerability was discovered in transaction approvals. It is located in the crosschain-bridge system. The service is engaged in the inter-network exchange of various cryptocurrencies.

According to Etherscan, the address deploying the protocol suffered as a result of the attack. As a result, this has had an impact on smart contracts in such blockchains and crypto networks as Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Avalanche.

There is a possibility that the attacker is a white hacker. In the smart contract to which the withdrawn funds were sent, the function of 100% asset return is implemented. It will also be possible to give a "tip" in the standard amount — 10 percent.

Protocol specialists reported that they are now monitoring what is happening. Those customers who have suffered will be compensated. At the same time, the team also reported that the protocol itself was not affected in any way and is fully working.
