The fraudulent post called on the participants of the crypto exchange to check whether they could receive UNI tokens as a gift. To do this, it was necessary to switch to a phishing resource.
One of the users noticed that he was registered on the day of the hacker attack. At the same time, it had a domain zone of the Russian Federation. The post was later deleted. But they published other phishing messages with similar content.
Only after 9 hours, the founder of the crypto exchange made a post that he was able to restore access to his profile.
Earlier, hackers attacked the Twitter profile of one of the Circle's directors, Dante Disparte. His account was used to promote fake airdrov.
Also at the end of last year, hackers were able to gain access to the Twitter profile of Kevin O'Leary, the star of the Shark Tank TV show. His profile was used for fraud, in which it was reported about the distribution of bitcoin.
