What Wood reported
The specialist noted that, in her opinion, the agency is thinking about approving bitcoin-ETF. At the same time, it will affect several at once. After all, most of the applications are actually the same. Therefore, everything will be reduced to marketing.
Moreover, Wood also believes that the agency may delay the decision. A preliminary hearing regarding applications will be held on August 13.
Recall that in mid-June, BlackRock decided to submit an application to the department to start working on a spot bitcoin ETF. After the financial giant, other major financial market players sent the same applications.
It is worth noting that ARK Invest and 21Shares are higher in the queue than BlackRock. This is due to the fact that they submitted the documents much earlier. For example, the Wood company did it in April.
